The secure form On arrival at Authorize.net's form you can confirm the SSL security by looking for the symbol in the status bar.Authorize.net's form is more customizable than many - you can specify your own HTML for the top and bottom of the page, and enable only the fields that are relevant. In my case, I don't even need a street address, so I just enabled some basic contact information such as email and telephone. After this form collects the extra information it needs to process your credit card it sends both you and I an email confirming the transaction, then redirects the user to a URL of my choice. Remember that you should not rely on the email as real proof that the transaction took place - it's just a normal, easily forged, email. Always check your account balance by logging in to Authorize.net. |
